i think the 76 devs are honestly better at the creation kit than bethesdas main team rn

oblivion was heralded at the 360 conference and was the game to tide people over until halo

i think it's argubly poorly done

but i do think the team was majorily fucked over

you seem to hold it in pretty good regard now, or at least you sound like you do sometimes

and engine wise it's largly considered the most optimized bethesda game

wbich is REALLY funny

since it was the buggiest

it has a lot of issues

but there's a lot of really really well done parts

creature design is top tier world designers went all out

the map is beautiful and the fact its pre-apolocalypse creates some awesome reveals like the river being dried up

etc.

it's extremely well optimized and visually looks quite good over fallout 4 even in minor ways

I think the no npc storytelling was a cool idea and sort of worked but it ran into mechanical issues many times

infact the original story HAS NPCs they're just robots

i think if they just sold it as an actual game and went all out on that it would of been a really really good game comparable to fallout 4 easily

which is why if the 3 remake is the same team and is just the fork of that engine (hopefully not a fork of starfield for the love of god)

i think it'll be a very solid remake even if 3 is a lackluster game

i like the irratiated cryptids too they're pretty funny as a concept

and fit the goofy ahh fallout asthetic a lot of them
