iirc counterspell in pathfinder was made really convoluted

Like a good 70% of creatures definitely have fire resistance or immunity

I assume it’s mostly just humanoid enemies though

Either way I’m having fun trying to minimize long resting so my martials are doing pretty good; although that’s also partly due to fear of bricking a quest by long resting

i think there's only like two things that break

due to it

but yea

it was way more fun when resources were limited

and balanced

i was scared about using spells

this is without the garunteed crits from suprised/assassin because woops

im very glad that every puzzle with physical objects also lets you drag and drop

because i found another and i havent had to use the insert menu

so i by chance picked up two items from the prlogue, random junk items and kept them on the offchance they can be useful

and there's actually a thing where you CAN use them later, but its not even like a cool easter egg or interesting dialogue

its the most nothing dialogue possible

im happy they actually do something but its kinda idk

i got my waypoints back

i also really like how one of the first very powerful items you can steal, the druid idol gives an aoe that gives you and your allies stats, but if you long rest with it in your inventory it just breaks

60 hours later i gave up and just let it break (its a bug 100%)

and then i ffind another item with an aoe bonus, then notice just now after like 3 hours of playing "oh i long rested and it just fucking broke l0l

also act 3 is fucking LAGGY

i did some searching though and people were swearing by the task manager -> priority high shit and usually it does nothing

but unironically i turned it on and the lag spikes dissapeared

fucking weird

also act 1/2 dx11 ran better for me

but now act 3 vulkan runs better

and people are reporting the same thing

i wonder if vulkan was added so late in developement that it was more optimized for act 3 since it has dynamic npcs and is therefore more cpu intensive
