you are quite literally not allowed to be evil here at all

but if you are good, your choices involved with being "good" are empty and nonexistent

theres no morally dubious choices either, its just "good" or "bad"

but if you just want gameplay fights its fine

though argubly less creative and interesting battles but not neciisarilly a bad thing

the early access portion is act 1, it came out a few years ago and has gotten small updates each update- its sort of jarring in some places bceause you can see the artifical divide from when they worked on some things, and the newer content feels slightly different- but in general act 1 feels pretty refined and bug free

and then the non-early access content just becomes entirely broken sometimes

i encountered 3 wrongwarps, and spooky found another

quests break, characters break

for their sake i hope act 2 was done last and act 3/baulders gate itself is extremely refined

I like the combat a lot more :)

the story in BG3 is jsut funny at this point

and the combat is significantly better

that system feels a little underbaked

5e is underbaked

If anything there's a little more in bg3

I think the combat overall synergizes better, maybe that's good class balance or having a good system to borrow from in 5e

I still think they're underbaked, but that makes th active ones more useful at least

divinites main issue is the armor system

it basically makes it so you cant play a 3/1 party

and causes some turns to feel uselesss

im starting to hit the uh

martials falling off point as well

i guess its balanced to have it so that martial strong early, magic strong late

but it doesnt feel good to haev a team member feel uselessish

like insane my fighter can hit twice for 9-30~ damage and has a chance to do some special effects... OR i can just blast 8d6 +50% +2d4 in an aoe every turn

We love casting spells

i noticed assassin is insanely buffed in this

so i went gloomstalker assassin multiclass

and turn one they always crit and do insane ranged damage

but after turn 1 theyre half useless

so they wipe out half the enemis turn 1 then hit for like 20 damage a turn after that

Classic rogues

which still feels more useful than my fighter

i was expecting some like, fighter gear or super strong weapons...

to balance it out

Martials are theoretically better in this game because they encourage the prolonged adventuring day, but I guess you can just keep long resting anyways

i have found ONE area that

blocked resting

and it was fighting my way out of an area, but halfway through it let me rest and tp out again

They should program a pikmin timer where your brain gets eaten if you don't beat the game before then

so boring

has been for

mages as well

its so odd

the spear from the robot in act 1 is still technically my highest damage weapon

but it has a tiny downside so i use a slightly different weapon with like -1 damage

it doesn't help so many enemies have high ac and dex

my light cleric shadowheart unironically is like almost top dps sometimes
