I won't lie and say divinity was polished by any mean, but I've replayed it on launch and post relase many many times and I can really only think of 2 things that "break" quests, one of them is an extremely valid and common complaint that breaks nameless isle.
if you find a secret tunnel and go inside, it skips the "finding the door" part of the quest and automatically moves alexander and sallow man. people complain a lot about this and it causes so much to move and it's an extremely valid complaint because you're punished for exploring

one is that action economy is a lot easier/harder to maximize because no ap system
two is that buffs are extremely limited so they don't expect you to prebuff,
three is it doesnt have divinites fucking awful armor/CC system so
and i think four, the most important one- is that in D&D you are given your new abilities via level up, so you can't pull a rusp and just ignore every skillbook vendor
