It took me to city part of Baldurs Gate and there were a bunch of act 3 NPCs talking to me

I ran around for 60 seconds, before reloading

Tbh, that wasn't even the biggest bug I encountered, I've had to reload old saves so many times, it's absurd

I'm also worried I've bugged out my Gale

It's not been happy with me since I quick traveled once at the transition between acts, and I think he's being treated as dead by the game

Drow bitch broke on me too, and I lost ~1 hour to unfuck her

its own ENTIRE area

idk, I've lost so much progress after the tower

the quests are just

My game is all sorts of broken

SO buggy

i rather them try to make normal fucking quests

instead of these super interconnected companion quests

because they just break

i imagine the only people they got to test just speedran the game or like

only played in certain fucking ways

because if you play weirdly or stray in ANY way

or try exploring

it just breaks

I'm getting slightly worried about the length of the game

I'm level 8 and i dont think im that close to being done with act 2

and im not even tryharding exp anymore

level cap is 12

is baulders gate just a marathon of being level 10-12

or is the city small and act 1 the actual brunt of the game

the writing is also getting worse and worse, I literally had the dream person tell me the equivalent of "I can't tell you yet because it ruins the story/plot if you know now XDDD

There are some small bits of good writing/characters

But the overall story and structure are just..... Yeah

it feels like i havent actually done much despite the amount of time i have played

its the very opposite of a grand scale adventure, which isnt a bad thing i suppose

I'd like if there were more standalone adventures,

It feels like everything needs to fit into a neat good/evil faction box

The underdark was the most different

the underdark fell into good/evil boxes if you looked into it but it gave you a reason to be evil at least if you wanted to

No matter how you build your character there's literally zero reason to be evil in the main conflict of act 1 unless you really hate the tieflings being fucking dicks to you

for the mountain pass there are no story options lmao

for the shadow touched lands, it's either help the harpers or just fucking murder them all for lmao even

since I'm 99% sure no matter if ur good or evil i think act 2 will end the same if im right

I just wish there was more individual stories/things along the way in your adventure

Act 2 felt a lot smaller

Like for example, the burning inn at the top of act 1

isolated, interesting story

Which is fine, but I assumed they were going for a classic 3 act structure.... And it seems even more basic than that

cool, self contained, future relevant, expands the world

Yeah, that feels like the bare minimum tbh

creates a plot and story

there's very little of that

I want a game that is 90% that

And sure, maybe some stuff connects back to a "save the world" plotline since that's obligatory

compare to act 2 divinity where you have at first like 5 later/total like 8 different sourcerers and conflicts going on, everything herding you in directions (bloodmoon island, rykers graveyard, blackpits, mordus' lair)

they add to the story yet have self contained mysteries and plots

it feels more grand and like an adventure, and like you're doing something
