Also, I went into a random battle against this Exeggutor EX deck who lost four coin flips in a row.
degeneracy
you also need seaking
and skiddo but you should never run skiddo

I pulled my first Moltres EX. Too bad I really need a second one...
Are people who complain about Misty decks mentally retarded or am I missing something?
Your opponent has to do multiple coinflips to possibly create a board state that immediately wins for them, meaning you get to concede pretty much right away
Meanwhile there are multiple other decks you might try to play it out in that would ultimately waste more time and they're more stable
you know i think to the average person losing on turn 1 and having no chance to win is not fun
I agree
The % chance of it being a turn 1 auto win is low
But I never said it wasn't fun, but that it at least saved you the time
i mean i have no room to say anything because i think the entire game is unfun and dogshit
I'd agree with that aswell tbh, I don't think it's a very fun mobile game. Collecting cards for free is a neat time waster at least
simplifying an already shit tcg down to this means its 90% luck 10% skill
This game is all about what ramps the quickest, OTK is not fun; which makes me think 18 trainers is the most toxic dex, however not nearly the strongest. It's an exodia meme strat but with less luck.
I think Pikachu EX will require nerfs against its build.
YGO is no different where you most likely will scoop in the first few turns, but you also need to wait 4 minutes for the other person to combo you.
water decks are slow so getting even one head with misty puts you at a massive advantage
even more so if you misty on turn 1 when you aren't supposed to be able to attack
Replying to Garbage #garbageatgaming I think Pikachu EX will require nerfs against its build.
Do you think they'll actually edit cards or do a banned/limited card list like a normal tcg
they should ban every card that invokes a coin flip
they would NEVER
I think they take the FEH approach
ban cards
just power creep
in a gacha
Also yeah
that would piss too many people off
instead of having two tiers of matchmaking for no reason whatsoever, it should be EX and no EX
Isn't every card game a gacha
I'd assume they'd go limited over erratas, ban seems a bit too early in life. I think we will have set rotation to require only using the new set though.
you can buy cards in real life
so its not really an issue
this is actually just luck
you can buy cards in game
You'd have to spend a stupid amount
I think balancing numbers is possible, a ban is not
if they lowered pikachu ex to just 20 power per ally, that already is a 30 damage nerf at full setup, and punishes early
I think energy needs to a seperate hand, that starts you with 2, and draw 1 each turn; and then place. and prize cards to win need to be 4.
Them making this a collecting game drastically drops the chance of game modes like drafting too, although I guess it could make it so you don't keep your drafted cards.
Btw garbage, since you've played the most, what do you think the 3 strongest decks are.
they need to figure out a way to make going first not immediately put you at a disadvantage
Pikachu Ex and Mewtwo Ex are so much better than everything else right now
Yea those two are really easy
Third im stuck between dragonite or nidoking
I can still beat both easily because all the players I match up against are retarded
Charizard EX and Venasaur EX will be better if the format is slower
I've still won vs Mewtwo as Water deck with abysmal coin flips
Liligant is good ramp, but not being passive makes it worse than gardivor
Replying to Garbage #garbageatgaming Charizard EX and Venasaur EX will be better if the format is slower
Because of it being mobile i doubt they'd slow the pace down.
Starmie ex will see way more play then articuno ex if we get more water support
Dragonite is dogshit, and it's funny to see people play it.
I was thinking fire would be good if a better EX came out next set that didn't involve throwing all your energy away
have you played against good metal decks garbage?
I think I have only faced one before
and I won because I drew better
melmetal is way too slow to lose to when running articuno or mewtwo.
I can beat those just fine
again because everyone is retarded
I have yet to lose to melmetal, dragonite or koga
I lose to dragonite when I draw nothing usable for like 10 cards straight
I've suffered early losses to marrowak and Blaine.
And then lucky articuno's, both 18 and starmie, mirror match mewtwos going first with bad hand, and pikachu ex are my most common losses.
Currently I think Cinccino and Arbok have the best chance of being good with more support, but it really is hard to be good when EXs are so oppressive in the game.
Rare candy would fix a lot of evolution decks, but would aggressively benefit mewtwo and charizard to the point of being unplayable (excluding being able to skip to EX, then only mewtwo would be made super good)
look at you

I was looking at the physical expansions and power creep is crazy. Cards with over 300 HP, evolution cards are basic, and so on. Back in my day...
I believe that the initial ruleset for TCG was 3 points but 6 prize cards total
so you could lose access to 4 of your cards for the entire game
and no EXes of course
I have hit the 1/5 in wonder picks so many times in the last couple days
even with this I am still missing two commons
Guess great luck just takes a month of pure ass luck
cinematic pikachu ex
