Dude, reading people being mad about Kaguya not getting a full adaptation while I have sat here hearing you guys being mad at how dogshit it got for years is sending me
People are really mad
It's got to be animeonlys
I assume so
There is a subset of people who think faithful adaptation = good anime/show/movie
this is a long standing argument, where there are easy counterexamples as to how this is not true and you can completely ignore the source material and make something that on its own is worthwhile
Those people are annoying too
I do not engage with where I'd see them often, usually just see things on my twitter for you page occasionally
I'm probably guilty of doing that a little, usually in the context of saying I like an upcoming arc being adapted
I do think anyone who can't help themselves and feels the need to vaguepost to animeonlys is genuinely sad
Like, they don't know where to go today actually discuss things, so they just shit up other threads/replies
Kaguya OVA I am glad they squeezed in the dad youtuber arc, somehow I remembered that spoiler from you guys talking about it

Watching the Kaguya OVA and the dad VTuber arc is really funny to me, especially the joke about his VA
It's such a great plot device too, since it makes Shirogane and his family un-poor
The Kei bit was my favorite

Anyone know if the strange fake episode is the one from earlier this year they released early, or is it a different E1
They're the same
00 and 01 were both released previously
00 in 2023 and 01 in 2024
I know its not the movie

I skipped the other E1 because I was not fucking watching that then waiting a year

Man, that was a good show
S1 was peak, it started to meander a little in the middle but came back around by the end
It's also just, a really creative show with its characters/setup

Is that a MAL thing?
I assume so, but it only works if you set your start and end dates on your shows before they did the wrap
Polu told me about it, but I did not fucking care to go back and add start and end dates to the shows I have seen

I was going to say, I thought you actually used MAL to track episode progress
Yeah, but Mal does not automaticall track when you start and finish a show. Polu might have misunderstood or I might have misunderstood him when he was explaining it to me
Other than comedy, the other two are kind of insane lol
