I was noticing it skewed towards popular shows
but most have pretty good OPs
Dandadan S2 was not one of those, at all
I was bullish on animethemes eventually getting better (performance wise)

people are mad at the anime original ending, and are saying Aka "was not content with ruining oshi no ko, he wants to ruin the kaguya ending by making it anime original"

I think purists who hate the anime because it is not like the manga are cringe, especially if the things they changed are honestly objectively good choices, or make more sense for an anime than adapting the manga 1 to 1
interspecies reviewers fans in shambles because they made it more pornagraphic in the anime

There is a subset of people who think faithful adaptation = good anime/show/movie
this is a long standing argument, where there are easy counterexamples as to how this is not true and you can completely ignore the source material and make something that on its own is worthwhile

I'm probably guilty of doing that a little, usually in the context of saying I like an upcoming arc being adapted
