In a game based on Rome, you plan to have one of the most basic aspects of the Roman government locked behind DLC
The standard paradox DLC policy
I'm sure they're just to lazy to actually code unique mechanics
When they jointly commanded armies, they'd usually trade off command each day
They'd elect someone (almost always one of the consuls) dictator for a year

Plus, it'd make more sense to name the eighth month Octavus or something instead of August

I'm so let down, that the makers of one of the best Rome games out there, have seemingly stopped trying
they aren't the only developers who stopped trying, and just opt to go with the Minimal effort for good proftis route
