nintendo's track record with its spinoffs is bad lately. Their main series games are good but they keep fucking up the spinoffs
excluding pokemon
I'm still mad about Mario Party
main series pokemon is bad
Luigi's Mansion wasn't terrible
I almost consider luigi's mansion to be its own ip
and not a spinoff
I'd consider paper mario to be its own if Luigi's Mansion is
Mario RPGs are their own
1 umbrella, for 3 IPs
I never played the newer mario and luigi games
are they bad
I only ever played the first one
Inside Story (and the remake) were good
Dream Team was meh
I hated the sleep one
Paper Jam was bad
I forget paper jam exists
Partners in time is probably better than Superstar Saga
I like Bowser's Inside Story more though

they stopped trying to make a good game when Ohmori got a high position

3D models were the worst decision Pokemon ever made for the mainline games
they'd have to blow up the franchise and formulas for me to care
Even a Black/White 3
wouldn't interest me at this point
I can live with the models (although sprites are obviously better)
but the gameplay and formula has been so fucked
and the story is less good

pika the games suck because no one at Game Freak knows how to do 3D games
The in game and story have never been stellar
so the transition ruined everything
