depends how many mobs they throw at you
dammit, im getting my hopes up too
all PaperMario and Mario&Luigi RPGs change up how many mobs they'll throw at you, and their relative strength
with 12 rows, and 48 total cells on the ground
I'm hoping battles have 10+ mobs consistantly
trailer had 8 enemies
I ahve a lot of ideas, but I think this could be cool
if it's done right
let us pray to the paper gods

God every time I see a paper mario game come out I just imagine, what if it was good

they focus way too much on it being Paper
Literally all they need to do is take the classic gameplay
slap a paper aesthetic on it

I only played the original game and loved it
tyd needs a remake/re-release
well and I played sticker star in that I played like 3 hours of it, hated it, then never finished
but then everyone will realize how horrible the new ones are spooky
nintendo can't have that happen

and rake in the sub fees
nintendo's track record with its spinoffs is bad lately. Their main series games are good but they keep fucking up the spinoffs

I'm still mad about Mario Party
main series pokemon is bad
Luigi's Mansion wasn't terrible
I almost consider luigi's mansion to be its own ip
and not a spinoff
I'd consider paper mario to be its own if Luigi's Mansion is

I never played the newer mario and luigi games

Inside Story (and the remake) were good
Dream Team was meh
I hated the sleep one
Paper Jam was bad
I forget paper jam exists
Partners in time is probably better than Superstar Saga
I like Bowser's Inside Story more though
