Going to a memorial for the Bondai shooting today. Worried about going there unpretected. Can't fit the Bible in my pocket, so I looked for the most fitting into pocket book I have in my shelf: Dune Messiah, by Frank Herbert. From the title I feel like I may be committing sacrilige for using it as body armor.

Taco Bell had a monopoly on what was considered Mexican quisene in Australia. We wouldn't know what "Authentic mexican food" would be like if it bit us in the face. Unless it was named Old El Paso, but that's not a restraunt. Taco Bell's main competitors, Guzman and Gomez, and Mad Mex, didn't even come into existance until nearly a decade after Taco Bell came into existence here. If I am to fault Taco Bell for failing, it's because all their restraunts turned into KFCs, and because tacos were scary alien food.

I get really bothered with the idea of people buying me lots of black socks. It does NOT make it easier to find a pair. When you are given a variety of socks, you can instantly know when you have a matching pair or not But if they're all mostly black, I spend so much time staring at them, searching for brand markings, comparing sizes, checking if all the frills are exactly the same when they're inside out and not inside out, and heaven help me if one sock in a pair has lost it's elasticity.

Last dream I remember having about people online was for /r/MawInstallation I dreamt that it had relatively recently become canon that Mace Windu survived his bout with Palpatine and Anakin, and that he still hung out with Anakin. Someone provided a book citation. Then my dream transitioned to Anakin and Mace Windu hanging out in the "I AM THE SENATE" room. They were sharing chicken burgers with ham and pineapple (I forgot who brought them in after waking up, out of an effort not to appear racist. So I'm not sure if it was racist of me to think Anakin would bring otroppo burgers from Oporto for Mace, or if Mace would be the one to bring them in). Mace Windu was wearing my blue nighting gown. Mace Windu asked Anakin "Why don't you ever betray Palpatine" Anakin said "I would try, but every where I go I feel his presence" Mace Windu: That's cause he slipped his lightsabre into your robes while you weren't looking Anakin: What Mace Windu proceeds to pull Palpatine's lightsabre out of Anakin's robes, says "See", and then they all start to laugh

Crap, and I JUST started binging the manga. Though I already gave up on them adapting the Garou vs Saitama fight before the rapture happens in real life.

Had an epythany that having the secord word in my discord account be "Gades", which is the name of an evil god from the Lufia games might be idoletry. So I'm thinking of deleting my entire discord account, or atleast renaming it. But I'm not sure what my default name should be on other servers.

Having watched the first episode of Sentenced to Be a Hero, I think the show could be improved by having all the monsters be stick-figures. It'd make the show a lot less grusome.

Was listening to a Bible study chapters Ephesians 4 and 5. Decided to read it. Got to this verse: >Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; Ethesians chapter 5: verse 25. Right now I am so sexually deprived (having abstinated from mastibation for the past month), that the words "Husbands, love your wives," actually caused me to be mildly arroused and think to myself "I'd like to be one of those husbands when that speech was utterred", and now I find myself envying them. People should really put a NSWF warning on the Kings James Bible Online, for particular passages. Though I suppose it is my fault, for reading a bible verse which is explictly addressed to husbands only.

Nearly finished watching Yu Yu Hakusho last year. If there's one thing that bothered me about that show it's that 4Kids never dubbed the show. Say what you will of them but they would have nailed the casting of Yusuke.
Pyrrhic anime
Yusuke needs to sound like a New Yorker, or maybe Chicago Jersey, or some sort of Italian accent. The important thing is he needs to sound like an east coaster, and 4Kids was the dubbing company that mainly delt with East Coast talent.

Watching Sentenced to be a Hero makes me appreciate Alear from Fire Emblem Engage's character design a lot more. There are only so many anime girls you can make up before you are just redrawing Lucina (from Smash Bros).

A day before the 2024 American election I dreamt that my sister drove me to the States, so that her American husband (why do I say that like she has multiple) could vote. Then the people at the voting booth kept trying to get me to vote. "But I don't live in this state", "Don't worry" they said. "But I'm not an American citizen", "Not a problem". I think they assumed because I wasn't American that I would vote for Camila Harris. I woke up so proud to find out that I resisted the urge to commit election interference in my dreams.

Found an objectively wrong video. The best 2d Classic Mario Game was Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World, which is as good as all the games he ranked combined (because it is all the games he ranked combined)

I know people like to say the seahorse emoji is proof of them not being intelligent, but being too proud to admit you're wrong is a very human trait.

Saw on Reddit (waifudiscussions) a discussion of the "Breed one. Kill one" variety, with the subject being Nia and Yoko from Guren Laggan. Everyone chose Yoko (to breed). Which was the right choice, but they chose for the wrong reasons. While yes, Nia does have some appeal, (which is eclipsed by Yoko's tatas) she is objectively the wrong choice in this discussion, since being a creation of Lord Genome, Nia is infertile. And she also has a lifespan akin to Eren Yeager's.
