GenerikB and BdoubleO took money from several different servers. The biggest is WynnCraft (which was ran by Grian). They then made videos promoting the server without disclosing it was a paid promotion. Generik also used the Mindcrack name when playing on these servers saying that Mindcrack approves of it. Guude talks about a developer getting scammed of $400 because he thought it was an official Mindcrack server. Guude had to prevent them from fucking up the Mindcrack brand and had to make contracts.
Hey new guy, sorry we all missed you
that has some stuff
Welcome to the server

Goot morning Mr. bot
Good era, I think a fair number of people here sorta fell off liking Unforgotten Realms live around the midpoint of S2 as well
between it being a little overscripted and the whole meta plotline being kinda meh
That was part of what Rob was struggling with at the time, how to cut up those S2 and S3 streams into clips or shorter recap movies
Replying to galah1 #galah1 This mindcrack Guude rant is throwing me
I still (loosely) feel bad for Guude because I think he's blamed a little too much for Mindcrack failing
Replying to galah1 #galah1 I didn't realise the consensus was rob was bad for a while now
from the mindcrack era or in general?
Most people here knew he was an asshole for a while, him being a dick to Justin behind the scenes of urealms live was the first major crack a lot of people saw, which came out after he destroyed his career at the end of URL S3
also welcome to the server
Rob became generally unstable in the 2018/2019 timeframe
but specific to Mindcrack, Rob treated the group differently than most other mindcrackers did
which I think was why everyone had such strong opinions behind the scenes
Because to Rob, he was not "friends" with anyone in the group, it was a semi-professional endeavor and that didn't really mesh with how Guude and a lot of other people treated it
So Rob's way of approaching projects and collabs threw them, where he'd be super personable and friendly, and then 180 and cut people out when there was a minor professional disagreement

Replying to galah1 #galah1 I loved buffalo wizards TTT, was it ever very popular and has it retained much discussion?
unfortunately, this Discord was deleted back in 2020-ish, so all that prior discussion was lost
and the reddits were mostly closed or purged
I think most people who were around for the Buffalo Wizards era really liked it, even if it was mismanaged and died when Urealms became hyper successful

Replying to galah1 #galah1 I almost feel bad asking some of these questions because you guys have probably answered them so many times, what ever happened to that urealms game he was working on from way near the start
oh UQuest, yeah that died
Rob was going through the effort to refund money (which was a weird move imo) prior to imploding around the same time as URealmsLive S4 started
