Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak central limit theorem just states that the statistical average of sequences of RVs approach a normal distribution
It's taking a sum of two RVs. One of is correlated across elements (the signal - because a signal hits every element) and the other is not correlated across elements (the noise) so when you sum up a large beam, the noise never increases, but the signal does. So that's the central limit theorem, the noise just goes into a gaussian.

I'm still confused on the N^2/N, because you're using the same data multiple times when you're overlapping. Like, you're using the same noise to smooth out.. noise. But I do understand that it's like a normalizer, but I swear you are absolutely correlating the noise by using it multiple times.

the gains from wifi7 are really just from adding additional antennas, and you're more likely to have packets get through if you transmit more of them from different geometry, and repeat other people's packets in your downtime
I won't pretend to be a radar expert, but I suspect there is probably a more useful application there

where they just burn money on admin costs and shareholder bloat
Wikipedia is an amazing service, but I don't give them money anymore
At this point autistic people would fully maintain wikipedia for free anyways
they don't need more than like 2-3 admins
they have to pay for infra
but they have that all secured forever anyway
They spend ~$200M/year, and their total hosting costs are ~$3.6M of that, which are fully funded by government grants anyway
I like Wikipedia though, so of all the bloated non-profits, I'm more ok with them having money to burn
just wish they were less pushy trying to get donations

I had the wierdest dream.
I dreamt I went to a conveniant store to ask for a job.
And the guy working there refused to give me a job because he thought I was Indian (and he didn't trust indians).
Now, I have nothing against people who are racist against indians. It just perplexed me that he thought I was Indian (I usually get mistaken for Italian). But also: who'd ever heard of a conveniant store owner that refuses to hire Indians?
