It's just a bit reductive. It doesn't add anything to the conversation. It's not the worst thing in my mind, but it can be annoying when you want to have a conversation and you just get the "yeah I saw it"

I don't know how you software developers do your job. I'm doing such mundane, petty bullshit that does not matter at all and could be completed in maybe 2 months, but because of the merge request, peer-review commenting, jira ticketing, clang format, C++ clean code standards bullshit, I can't even get started on the first part. I left the federal government because of how painfully slow the management was, but companies are painfully slow at FUCKING WORK. Who the FUCK cares that I used an if (!ok) { throw error } vs try { ok; catch { throw error } it fucking doesn't change anything. Using a const ref rather than value on a single fucking integer. Oh my fucking god.

Another case of me complaining about a video without watching it. Like no shit, Arcturus Mengsk is the most "Diabolical dictator in Starcraft". That is an incredibly narrow playing field. I was asking my boss a question because I didn't understand how using overlapping virtual aperture arrays is of any use. He answered my question with "the central limit theorom, N^2/N is bigger" and I said I didn't understand and then told me, "It's okay. you don't need to understand this." Yeeeuupp thank you for reconfirming my desire to leave.

central limit theorem just states that the statistical average of sequences of RVs approach a normal distribution
It's taking a sum of two RVs. One of is correlated across elements (the signal - because a signal hits every element) and the other is not correlated across elements (the noise) so when you sum up a large beam, the noise never increases, but the signal does. So that's the central limit theorem, the noise just goes into a gaussian.

I'm still confused on the N^2/N, because you're using the same data multiple times when you're overlapping. Like, you're using the same noise to smooth out.. noise. But I do understand that it's like a normalizer, but I swear you are absolutely correlating the noise by using it multiple times.

you are, that's why 4x4 MIMO adds basically nothing to modern WiFi, since you're not actually nulling anything and are just doing that same correlation again

the gains from wifi7 are really just from adding additional antennas, and you're more likely to have packets get through if you transmit more of them from different geometry, and repeat other people's packets in your downtime

I'm sure I'm in the wrong because I don't know radar and only know a lot of sonar, but I do like being treated as an adult in a professional setting every once in a while. Or being in a place where I can learn new things with any form of incentive or reason.
