Intuatively, the limit should be about 3/2, since that is the expected value of each Xi, actual answer is 4/e (I was just assuming it was 3/2's which was tripping me up). I literally just needed use the strong law of large numbers on the natural log of that

What really kills me about this, is I kept second guessing myself, so I coded up a quick program to check that it did converge to 3/2's, and kept getting 1.47ish, which is 4/e, not 3/2!

Sort of, the trick is you take the natural log of this, then you have a sum of iid random variables over N, which then you can use the strong law of large numbers on like normal

I spent hours trying to figure out how to make this novel neural network structure work and then I made a typo in my code that fixed a stupid linear algebra error I had made

My roommate is a safety hazard. Keeps forgetting to turn the stove and gas off, almost burns his popcorn half the time, accidentally left out freezer unsealed for like 9 hours

Chinese man successfully derailed my online technical writing lecture (given by two women) for actually about 20 minutes by asking them to clarify what "mansplaining" was

this same guy asks for the professor to elaborate on how it's "weird" for a 27 year old to marry a 16 year old.

You know, tonight I was discussing how a "mutual" friend is 30 dating what is a newly 18 year old. So it would be nice if the professor has insight on this

I really like that we made this chat as a joke and that people actually started using it for its intended purpose
reorruatrnte vent
If people didn't use it for it intended purpose then people wouldn't ever believe us when we told them to stop venting in general and to post here
