One of my favorite YouTubers turned out to be a sexy shirtless man 😔
If you gave me 50 guesses as to what syren looked like, this would not be one
Why must those who speak the most in lectures always have bricks for brains

Since leg uses this as a math vent chat
I spent so much time trying this from so many different angles, but the actual solution is so trivial I feel mad I did not ralize it
Intuatively, the limit should be about 3/2, since that is the expected value of each Xi, actual answer is 4/e (I was just assuming it was 3/2's which was tripping me up). I literally just needed use the strong law of large numbers on the natural log of that
What really kills me about this, is I kept second guessing myself, so I coded up a quick program to check that it did converge to 3/2's, and kept getting 1.47ish, which is 4/e, not 3/2!
Sort of, the trick is you take the natural log of this, then you have a sum of iid random variables over N, which then you can use the strong law of large numbers on like normal
so the log of that tends to the expectation of ln(X)
which works out to 2ln2-1
yeah
I mean, its just xlnx - x
That is perhaps insane
lmao
its just reverse product rule where (fg)' = f'g + fg', then integrating
thats fair

wtf is with the presentations for this discrete math course.
one of them the screen was covered 50% by black bars and opened up with a video of matpat game theory.
in one of thme one of the guys just had some black guy standing behind him watching the whole time who never said anything
one of them is MLP themed
lmfao
THIS GUY'S ZOOM BACKGROUND IS A PICTURE OF HIMSELF SMILING
lmao
Pirate, I do not think I could handle a zoomer math course
I am glad my generation was not brain broken
