It's whatever at this point lol
Replying to Phijkchu_Cynnydaquil #vinnyg Ok, first, it does break level curve a little, they did not rescale stuff to exp share and megas iirc, second, why do people care someone else is playing
Because it's the internet in the modern day where people think their opinions mean jack shit.
I mean I know why but they shouldn't care
It's retarded

Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak playing radical heights and what not
I liked watching those
oof
Replying to Reaper Bird #keeshi I liked watching those

I'm trying to figure out the best way to format the names for Rob's livestreams
Year Stream {###} Topics seems ok, but a little long, I feel like I should drop the word "Stream" altogether like 2018 {06} Radical Heights, but the numbers seem kind of autistic
I'm putting the original stream title in the description, but they're kind of worthless for VOD titles
Livestreams [2018-present]
Uploading first batch of streams, will add more over time
phijkchu.comAlso, these VODs take forever to transcode, they're in the playlist on the page but have to finish transcoding before they'll show up on the main page
Ooooo
but I like the 2nd idea for the titles
well you already have a full categorized archive of somebody's videos, numbers shouldn't increase the autism average that much
My other question, if I have three videos from the same stream (due to Rob starting/stopping)
I'm currently doing
{005} Radical Heights | Part 1
{005} Radical Heights | Part 2
{005} Radical Heights | Part 3
I could alternatively do
{005} Radical Heights 1/3
{005} Radical Heights 2/3
{005} Radical Heights 3/3
or
{005.1} Radical Heights
{005.2} Radical Heights
{005.3} Radical HeightsI don't like the last one, because it breaks up the numbering
agree
second one looks best and also has the most information
first one kinda implies that the 'part X' was actually in the original title
second one looks rustic enough to make it clear it's from your end
third one is the impostor
anything around the 1/2?
(1/2), [1/2], etc.
or just on its own
maybe if you put it in curly brackets like the first numbers it'd be most obvious that
it's an informal division
oh, I kind of like that
just trying to nail down formatting before I upload several hundred streams
I think that seems good, ideally you want to make it as easy as possible for people going through all the videos to tell their like, timeframe
and then people can go to the playlists if they want to watch
allthe radical heights, for example
yep, exactly
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 My other question, if I have three videos from the same stream (due to Rob starting/stopping) I'm currently doing{005} Radical Heights | Part 1 {005} Radical Heights | Part 2 {005} Radical Heights | Part 3I could alternatively do{005} Radical Heights 1/3 {005} Radical Heights 2/3 {005} Radical Heights 3/3or{005.1} Radical Heights {005.2} Radical Heights {005.3} Radical Heights
go with the first one. your already doing it
I liked pirates suggestion if the second set of brackets
idk, I'll leave it like this for today, before I start uploading more
12 vods is easy enough to change around, 500... less so
meh, I'm biased cause I wanna watch them, and its one of the few large amounts I didnt get to watch live or vod at all
only a few clips that we got up there
So if Rob is gonna start making people pay for his old videos, he's probably going to try to have the site taken down right?
How in the world would he lose?
well all of his videos were availible publicly before he took them down, and many of them were posted to other platforms that might have their own conditions for that kind of thing
also he said in discord people could back them up so it's legal Kappa
I really don't think one message on discord would make it so his work can legally be uploaded anywhere, and i'm pretty sure he still has ownership of his stuff even if it was uploaded on other platforms. It may be costly, but I really doubt Rob would lose a court case
well I'm no expert on anything legal but
assuming rob had a 100% take-down case, he'd still have to actually have something to argue it to its full extent
has this situation had any precedent before though
I think of it like uploaded episodes of a discontinued TV show online, it was available publicly on TV at one point but the people who made it still have ownership of it
well yeah
but people running a TV show have the stuff ready to basically be able to execute on their rights
which rob doesn't
again i'm no expert but common sense dictates he'd likely struggle to put forward a case to its full extent
That's true, I guess it's unlikely he'd do much, but I think if he really wanted to he could have the site taken down
spooky might have more of a concrete idea
actually he probably doesn't
he probably just thinks he can win against the enforcement rather than the legal proceedings
He'd be suing in a different country
this kind of lawsuit would take like 10k minimum
Rob would also have to provr damages to get payed
(that is the actual reason spooky is fine, besides the fact that rob probably wouldn't even want to tbh)
He himself took the videos down
So its not like the site being up drained hus cash
also spooky probably has more resources than rob does atm
and he will have the best legal team in the world after phijkchu quest sells 5 million copies
How this plays out is Rob emails Spooky a Cease and Desist, then spooky either ignores it, or tells Rob to have his lawyer contact him
I meant once he started making peoplepay for his old videos, he could have a case that he was losing money with the same videos being up for free somewhere else
it ends there either way
okay hear me out though
what if spooky gave rob the money to sue
imagine what a power move
