This is two-thirds of one post from the fantasy journal channel of the Fantasy Bookers Discord server. The entire channel is nothing but people posting shit like this, with almost nobody reacting to shit other people post. Difference between this shit and whatever that fuckstick is talking about? These people enjoy doing it, do it for themselves, put it out there in public for others to see, but they 100% have zero expectations anyone will give a shit.

I posted some writing I’m working on in a similar discord, got no reaction, but I did it less for a reaction and more because I wanted to post it somewhere since I might continue it one day.

I find that to be kinda bullshit, especially coming from people who haven't distributed their writing(or anything creative) in a medium they don't control and can't retract from everywhere they put it.

Like, I have stupid as shit fanfiction I wrote when I was 10 or 11 years old that's still online. The Let's Plays I did in and shortly after high school are still online, besides ones that I took down not because they were bad, but because it was a time where Youtube was like "Copyrighted music? Okay, your channel is getting banned if you don't take this down."

my favourite personal trans anecdote is checking some 'where are we now' post on a game's forum i used to post to and finding that the super edgy giga naziadmin was now a 'stay at home trans wife' with an updated cute wholesome profile

Shift-Right Click actually bypasses a surprising amount of web video players to download them, rather than use a download manager, look through the page source, etc. Not everything, but a lot of them.
