I said 16-20 hour work days worked regularly are definitely unhealthy, but many people adapt to 12+ hour work days, depending on the job, schedule, or the situation of the person

I mentioned that when I was very young, my mother was working 70+ hours a week for a couple years while my father was in school to support five children, and that after that, he worked 12 hour work days, 4 days a week, on call most days, because it was either that, or the seven of us would be homeless and starving.
