Dude, when they changed those laws so it's like "Yeah, if you steal stuff worth less than X amount in one go, the cops aren't really gonna do anything," so many people were so fucking stupid. They're like, "So what, these are billion dollar corporations, they can afford the loss, even if people steal $499 worth of shit, leave, come back 10 minutes later, repeat over and over, #FuckCoroprations #ShopLocalThinkGlobal," and stick their head in the ground when they see small businesses shutting down left and right because the law doesn't protect them from people doing the same thing there and they DON'T have the money to withstand it.

Imagine telling him that asking for money or support is harmful to people's mental health because it makes them feel less valued, and as a creator he shouldn't give benefits to people who are privileged enough to have disposable income.
