I did a little bit of searching the other day
No, there have been zero updates and no Mindcrack tell all vids
I've also been keeping an eye on it, from this I'm guessing next time they are doing something with his case is in an month. So probably won't hear anything till then if I'm understanding this correctly
Thanks for the update

If a man complains about how "the audience does not know what they want, only I know what they want" to no audience, is he right?
"gamers" as a whole do not know what the general populace wants sure, but each individual DOES know what they want. The issue is that you have to be wary of a vocal minority complaining about wanting one thing when most people don't want it, but you also can't entirely ignore everyone.
Artistic vision is almost always more interesting.
but I do think (intelligent) people are aware of what they personally want/enjoy
It's also a case of more often than not, vision loses out to pandering to market averages
or the loud minority of people online

Yeah I agree with this too. If you have something you really like and you create something specifically for yourself that you would enjoy, I think there's generally going to be an audience for it as long as you're passionate about it.
just for the record here: I was going to send a long spooky-type written response here, but I hit the time limit and so I can't anymore.
I welcome any and all speculation as to what I was going to say, however.
that's a really interesting hypothesis tiny
He got distracted by Garbage's art and had to bust a Funny
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 It's also a case of more often than not, vision loses out to pandering to market averages
and this is why the OOT remake will probably be disappointing
I agree, but that's why I think the remake could be good
Nintendo has been sorta aimless with how to structure their new games
forcing them to use Ocarina of Time as a base (hopefully) solves that first part they seem to struggle with
If its not just botw slop, I am sure it will be good
if they actually have an idea other than "use botw as a base to remake oot" like the rumour/leaks say they are doing, I think it will at least be good
botw is a good enough sandbox, that it carries an entire game
but its not actually very developed beyond that, and I don't think they've found a magic bullet that solves it simply by expanding the options they give you in the sandbox
I think bounding it around a narrative and dungeons, could be interesting to see if it works
it might not, but I'm at least optimistic
I think improving botw is fairly east, you just need to remove climbing, and add back in permanant items that unlock the ability to do new things to the world
or at least limit climbing a lot
I'd take botw in a different direction, I'd rather they give you more things you can change/influence in the world, and build the game around that
chain-reactions and cascading changes, and give Link abilties/items based on the world state
- 💯 1
that could be interesting too
They just need to do something other than what they have been doing
botw worked once, it will not work again
I think climbing is cool, just incorperate it rather than every challenge being in a wet or Shika "no climbing" room
and you need real Zelda dungeons in some way
and I agree, botw 2 was such a letdown and you can tell they thought they gave you enough extra stuff to make your own fun fucking around
but that just made the whole thing feel sorta pointless
I played 90 hours of both, I think totk is a sidegrade and if it came out first it would be fine
its the fact that botw already existed that made it lame
I think my issue with it is mostly the same reason I can't go back and play botw again
it's going to really have to sell me to buy a Switch 2 though
I don't think FE looks good enough to warant it
kirby air riders being a near launch game was a good move by them to get me and polu
because otherwise, yeah
"Am I willing to pay $600 to play Zelda"

How badly would they have to fuck it up for you to not at least be interested in it
I'll get it and judge it fairly when it comes out
but if its just botw but oot themed
that is a huge fuckup
Yeah
Do you think this is the first full voice acted Zelda game or partial voice acting like botw and totk
I'm hoping for the former but expecting the latter
not with the movie coming soon
