its a bit of a stretch but does anyone recognize this image of pikachu libre? im almost certain it came from someone drawing a bunch of phijkchu art, but i havent been able to pin it down. the closest i have found is on the phijkchu cult wiki with this zombie looking static pikachu in a similar style.

The one on the right might actually be an edit of Megan's art (which she drew 4 costumes versions of for Rob's pkmn stream)

weird, I reverse image searched the pikachu libre and it's giving me the wrong image. Usually google is pretty decent at searching exact images.

ok, I have fixed the longstanding issue on Rawb.art with pause/playback

videos will now properly pause when focus is lost on the window

and on mobile, you can still lock your screen while a video is playing

I thought the video only playing sometimes when I locked my phone was feature 😂

it should be more consistent, if you pause the video it will remain paused until you unpause it if you just lock your screen, it will keep playing (tested on all relevant browsers)

well, correction, it will follow whatever your mobile browser's setting is

so if you have background play turned off, it will not keep playing

how did you fix the bug?

I've tried to fix it before by fully replacing the player, and by adding a bunch of heavy-handed javascript

the focus-loss issue was unrelated to the mobile playback issue (surprisingly)

at some point brosers changed how they issues commands to video players, and actually secrelty issues a 2nd command as if the video player is a document

so I was correctly issuing video-watch calls

but by changing tabs, the "document" it was reading was set to hidden, which then reset the page calls, and because the site has auto-play it would start playing the video again

unless you waited for enough time for everything to reach agreement about it being paused

Im honestly impressed, I dont code much anymore but from what im told AI is only good for boiler plate/basic stuff. Did it diagnose the issue

Polar, I'm not shilling when I say this I really don't think many people appreciate how overpowered AI are at coding now

I use GPTCodex

but its neck-and-neck between that and ClaudeCode

and math/engineering is more of a prompting/framing problem

if you have a workflow where AI agents review themselves and work the problems, it's fairly robust

but if you just open a CoPilot window an paste and abstract math problem, it's going to spit out garbage and get off track immediately

Yeah, if you handhold it, I am sure it can get there

problem is, I can get the same result by just thinking about the problem, so it pisses me off
