The game looked like a below-average autobattler

they just have a dedicated troon fanbase who shill it in force now
most of the other non-steam games are pretty low-key, and aren't anti-Steam
but since vintagestory is hardcore anti-Steam, Valve is the devil, bluesky coded, etc.
