I've not posted any Rob updates recently, he's actually streamed 2-weeks in a row after taking a month off prior, so looks like he's not entering full retirement mode quite yet
LoM2 is still getting some update features, though I'd hazard a guess that Momo's slowed down since the project momentum hasn't really picked up
24/7 "DvZ" might bring back some interest, but idk what the timeline on that actually looks like, old Rob would have timed it for Summer when schools are off, but idt he has anyone that age in his audience anymore

The issue with dwarves winning is that it makes playing as a monster suck. I guarantee people would just leave after dying in that gamemode.
Didn’t people just leave after dying as a dwarf anyway
I thought there was a time when rob had to make specific updates to the game just because people would start a game and whoever became monsters didn’t want to be monsters and then would leave. Which made it like 1 zombie versus the server. Which I think in one of his old videos he had this experience and resummoned the dragon to kill more dwarfs because everyone he killed initially all left

even if they don't explicitly leave, it's hard to imagine they wouldn't phone it in and allow the game to end faster

You're correct, but then he over-corrected later and people began killing themselves to become a monster because playing a dwarf sucked.

I feel like people asked for this a few years ago and he called them idiots for it.

Coward points only made you more likely to plague that was the only penalty which was the very reason they left games early to begin with.

This also marks Rob's 100th (normal) stream since his huge mental breakdown in mid-2022
Interesting to look back on both how much and how little has changed since then
Credit to him for sticking with LoM even if it's just for his small core Discord group, they seem to like the roleplay nights they do

imo, Rob's pretty much done with content creation, no desire and financially not enough to sustain himself
He likes doing pick-up roleplay games, so maintaining LoM makes sense, and when he wants to relax and rp with a small group he has the 10-20 people necessary to do that in his server
He does still stream 2-4 times/month, but I think that's more of a buisness decision since there are still a couple people who will drop money on him when he does, not a ton, but a couple hundred dollars, maybe $1000/month total, isn't nothing
