Glad my internets back, I'll catch up on all this
the most important post I missed while no internet
All the comments in Ethos sub of "who the fuck is rob" is funny
I think most of Ethos fans at this point will be a post mindcrack group
because thats just how fanbase growth works
I wonder if all the attention will boost his stream numbers tonight
(assuming he streams)
lets go, time to youtube mog vinny for real
These are not difficult numbers to beat
I wholeheartedly agree that you will
I already almost am beating your vods channel
lol
Everyone gets a turn
Polu can post it so Pix will see it
Kappaa
Post the Rob documentary on the team phijkchu channel Kapp
r/mindcrack, whats his name here posting it on youtube drama is the smaller one, then etho is the almost vertical one
the post on ethos already has more upvotes than the mindcrack one
so yes
also 112 comments
Etho is still actually a big youtuber
everyone else involved is mostly forgotten
My position (I stated this when I first published the video) is guude made a lot of really stupid choices
many spurred on by people doing stupid shit
but he did make bad calls
I think if someone was mad/sad that Mindcrack fell apart, Guude is at fault for that
and; like a lot of things, dumb decisions are usually knowably dumb at the time, and it frustrates people to watch a public tranwreck happen when average people can come up with better courses of action
If nothing else, Guude made the choice to never talk about anything that happened
leaving people to just speculate
idk if this is an engineering/scientific approach or an above 80IQ approach or what.... but like....
just run ideas past more than one person before just doing it
wisdom of the crowd, or even just "hey friend, is this dumb or not"
that's why people try to character assassinate Guude I think, from the outside it makes it seem like he thought he knew best and was going to force everyone into his mold
and like Pika said, going radio silent after things failed makes it seem like it's even more your own hubris that caused it
Oh I agree, I just think it's hard to see that from the outside
especially for people who weren't Guude's direct fans
Rob also did a good job seeming like the reasonable person publically when all of this happened
I remember reading his posts on the matter
yeah
It was years later that I flipped
because Guudes optics at the time S U C K E D
just like they did with the EULA a couple years earlier
I need beef or pyro to weigh in so I can have bias
those were #mymindcrack
Dialga, if you fucked up majorly, the small amount I know about you, I probably wouldn't it to malice
Guude just didn't do himself any favors with how he packaged/presented everything that was happening to the public
if he was more open, I think near 100% of people would have been on his side
I blame him not having a wife to write PR statements for him
"Guude, if you say it this way people will think your a manipulative psychopath, let me re-write it for you"
actually, yeah, he wouldn't even need a wife
just get an Indian off Fivrr
we solved it guys
