what I heard, was that he was a sex pest, and 2 girls in the community had told him to stop, blocked him, and he kept at it. Dick pics and general weirdness/harassment
They went to the mod team (Dani it turns out) and he ignored it, and when they told other community members (which is how I think they figured out that this was a trend) the inner circle said "fuck this shit, Rob do something" and Rob turned around and banned Crazy instead for calling Rormin out publicly

I think after that, is when this pile-on happened, and people have just dug up all of rormin's past "transgressions"
Rob's not really a part of his own community at this point, which is why there was such a reaction and notable people standing up and leaving
at least 12, depending on how you separate the Twitch/YouTube audiences before he just became a streamer
or if you want more general, there are like 3 eras of Rob fans, and I think you can subdivide those eras
this is generation 4 of his final era (3rd era)
Final Era (3/3)
- Wholesome scam arc after URealms S4 cancelation
- Post Megan breakup and community cull -
- Post DvZ revival
- Post Rormin sex-pestery
You know Loveland, that's fair
I think if I made a list I'd keep changing it, because like you said the 2018-2021 arc "Rawb.tv" era
is more than just the wholesome scam stuff
I think my surprise was just how bad things got for Rob, post S4 end
"there's no way he can go lower than here"
and after the mental ward, Megan-breakup
yeah... I was wrong
at the end of the day, even in this sad era of Rob being a fuckup, people still do the whole community thing
Rob's not really a part of it, which is why I think it took until the Rormin stuff to actually drive a lot of them off
but yeah, it's pretty sad now
I don't personally find failed YouTuber documentaries interesting, the Down the Rabbit Hole style videos are only really interesting when they cover absolutely bizarre people/situations, which Rob's not really one of
Like, the tldr;tldr version of Rob's story is:
"Funny talented guy makes a lot of poor decisions; coupled with general unluckiness, enablers, and drug abuse, ends up mentally burned out after 10+ years of moderate success"
As a 2 minute segment of a video tracking the trajectory of 20 early internet people, sure might be interesting.
Rob would be the most interesting subsection of the mindcrack retrospective
what's sad is you're 100% right Pika
Mindcrack's death whimpers and immediate irrelevance is crazy
in the most mundane sort of way
Rob would be the wildcard element of that story
unless Guude decides to 1-up him
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak Rob would be the most interesting subsection of the mindcrack retrospective
Pika, if Rob leaves the internet can you do another Rob tier list video
Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Pika, if Rob leaves the internet can you do another Rob tier list video
I can do another one whenever I am not busy
hit the algorithm
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 "there's no way he can go lower than here"
this is exactly what i keep thinking
That's not abnormal
Weird stream time + Twitchcon going on
<100 live viewers overall
oh wow, he did a 6 hour stream
usually he ends early when he's not hitting dono goals
$350 Total
Cabex $225
DarkPhoenix $100
Everyone else $25 wait, this isn't even DvZ
sorry, I was wrong earlier
this is all LoM
I just scrub through it in like 30 seconds
because it's only big donations, so the bar will jump $100 at a time
you can also look at Rob's donation portal
I think 7 or 8 of the top 10 all-time aren't around anymore

tbh, I don't like that Streamlabs tracks this
