what I heard, was that he was a sex pest, and 2 girls in the community had told him to stop, blocked him, and he kept at it. Dick pics and general weirdness/harassment They went to the mod team (Dani it turns out) and he ignored it, and when they told other community members (which is how I think they figured out that this was a trend) the inner circle said "fuck this shit, Rob do something" and Rob turned around and banned Crazy instead for calling Rormin out publicly

Rob's not really a part of his own community at this point, which is why there was such a reaction and notable people standing up and leaving

I wonder how many "generations" could be counted in terms of Rob's fanbase

at least 12, depending on how you separate the Twitch/YouTube audiences before he just became a streamer

or if you want more general, there are like 3 eras of Rob fans, and I think you can subdivide those eras

Yeah Wholesome Scam was almost an era in itself, with Megan breakup ending it

I think my surprise was just how bad things got for Rob, post S4 end

I know I used to say Rob deserves a "Down the rabbit hole", I still feel that way

If he ever left the internet it'd be really crazy to see a like, hour long documentary on his rise and fall

But sometimes I feel like if I had to actually explain it all to someone it'd take hours

If anyone ever did, we would at the very least need to be involved, because we have by far the most detailed accounts of his exploits post Urealms

I don't personally find failed YouTuber documentaries interesting, the Down the Rabbit Hole style videos are only really interesting when they cover absolutely bizarre people/situations, which Rob's not really one of

Like, the tldr;tldr version of Rob's story is: "Funny talented guy makes a lot of poor decisions; coupled with general unluckiness, enablers, and drug abuse, ends up mentally burned out after 10+ years of moderate success"

As a 2 minute segment of a video tracking the trajectory of 20 early internet people, sure might be interesting.

Rob would be the most interesting subsection of the mindcrack retrospective
