but it feels like we're living in different worlds when people talk to me about the lockdown as if it was a thing

past the first ~2 months, when no one knew wtf corona was

In california it was like 3 weeks on and off lockdown whenever the stupid infections curve peaked and dipped

Kids are still made to wear masks in school last I heard

In VA, the teachers who were too "scared" to return to school in-person last semester all got fired

outside some of the super-liberal counties up North

Eventually they'll stop coming up with covid variants and we'll be done with this, but the effects will stick around for good
