A tokenized identifier to essentially log movement and actions. It'd be similar to having to be ID'ed for logging online, shopping for groceries, and required to be in public locales
PhrogDor politics
It makes a significant difference as they require phones with sophisticated location data provisions to be used to participate on social functions and operate in society

Logging what you say or your local movement gives instant feedback to then cut you out of social services, being able to be hired, and being able to even access your bank account

I just don't see where the ID being digital materially changes anything, the British have put up with government overreach and given away whatever limited rights they had decades ago
PhrogDor politics
Yes, but this is simply more thorough is what I am saying. Tying it to digital means means you can not not have a tracking device on at all times. At least you could go for a walk without ID. All this stuff is made to be automated eventually so you just get auto flagged without needing to tag a face or body character with cameras
PhrogDor politics
Digital ID is simply the full automation of it. Why is there an AI "boom"? There really isn't. It is just infrastructure around the world being made to automatically process security state data
PhrogDor politics
At the fundamental levep it doesn't change a ton, but much of this can't fully automatically be sorted through. Think of it as just a finer particle filter

Imo the big 3 corners are: Digital ID, Gun Control, and CBDC. Full closed loop tracking & social electronic integration, Lack of Threat Capacity, and Ability to Shut off Money, employment, and transaction.

The new Leonardo DiCaprio movie was good in regards to every movie I'd seen since the 2010s was so shit (outside of Dune). If it were released in the 90s, it would have been a flop I feel. I don't like being a hater and I did enjoy it, but so many frustrating parts where 20% was random loose ends for no reason.

I was thinking of American movies that are serious and have a real plot line with a real story to tell outside of "boom wow explosions and loud noises" and "catch phrase one liner" -- I can't remember one that didn't fall flat in a while.
