Replying to legorhin #jazardly I also thought Israel had it under control and didn't need the US military to do anything
Israel needs the US to force a peace, because they were not in a position to carry out their initial operational aims and risked overextending
I genuinely have no idea how Iran reacts to us dropping bombs in such a limited capacity, that failed to do much of anything
because on one hand, Iran "wins" overall if they can disengage from this after Israel attacked them first
but, it's also hard to even untangle wtf the state of the war even is at this point
Israel attacked Iran for (literally) no reason, and after ~2 weeks they convinced Trump to drop some token bombs on Iran as well
the war has been both sides just lobbing missiles at each other and threatening to do more but also really just wanting it to be over
~15% of America supports going to war with Iran, it is so wildly unpopular that unless Iran 9/11's us tomorrow I can't imagine us committing further

Does Iran win if they disengage?
I mean, I think so
Because given sides are asymmetrical it can't just be a count of $$$ of economic dmg they did to each other
I don't think it's some grand win you hype up or anything
But if Iran limps away without some larger war starting, that's definitely a win

I'm definitely not one of those people following it hyper closely either
Iran traded really well with the missile lobbing, the biggest economic dmg inflicted on either side was some Iranian oilfields getting hit, but both sides probably have received similar levels of dmg
In terms of people, Iran has more casualties but not significantly more
Low 1000s vs high 1000s would be my guess from what I've seen
See, I don't buy that Iran is some "occupied" country like people always claim, sure there are fringe tribes in the mountains
But same with China, all the bluster that there's some secret democratic wave ready to rise up, seems like cope to me
I thought it was funny some random Iranian "president in exile" we've apparently had on ice for 50 years
Came out and talked a big game
Whoever they guy was that's been living in America since they overthrew the shah
All countries have missile defense and AA
The reason Israel hypes there's up so much, is to deter people from attacking because they think it's hopeless
That's the strategy
Theirs is no better than anyone elses
They also usually only have to contend with very rudimentary rockets made by tunnel Arabs
- 😂 1
Which tend to not have the greatest tech
The dome also can be countered by shear volume
Which is the usual strategy used against it. A ton of shitty rockets versus a few good ones

Replying to legorhin #jazardly did they detach from Tucker Carlson after he went a bit loony?
didn't Fox fire Tucker years ago
unless they made-up then broke-up again in the interim
Trump has embraced MIGA
I don't even care, this is too funny
he's won me back over
just make everything great again
why not

Man, all the best and worst places in the world really were invaded by Britain
it says a lot about society
they definitely invaded Mali
and idk if "invaded" is the right term, but Sweden was liberated by the US, UK, and USSR in WW2
barely lol
