There's something really cathartic seeing the whole world economy bend to the US's
All of Asia hit their stop-loss circuit breakers when markets opened, so yeah they have
imo, the worst move would be to pause tariffs and punt a month
that'll net you nothing, and then everyhting will dip again after the month pause
I think most of the world/elites were getting ready for a general recession late this year, so its in everyone's interest to not have two massive drops back-to-back
so we'll see who moves quickest, and what the net effect of the first couple trade deals being struck are
and if you're trump, you probably coincide that with reducing interest rates, to drive money out of bonds back into the market
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 There's something really cathartic seeing the whole world economy bend to the US's (edited)
is like the good old days yeah
I think Canada and Mexico are the two biggest losers from all of this
because they're not going to benefit from the better US trade deals, while we're holding firm with them
lol bob

the worst part is I don't think it was very bad advice at all
worried we'll call them New New Mexico Dialga?
College communications classes are always so funny
we used to go audit the big 100-level courses, just to watch presentations while waiting for a different class sometimes
Replying to bob #b0b3365 shits going into recession right and all the stocks are a little bit down and so in theory at least eventually things will come back up especially since a lot of the big tech companies are getting in on pushing advancements in artificial intelligence and microelectronics
bob, I know you're not giving advice
but no, do not buy stocks if you think a recession is looming
Nintendo will drop the price of the Switch 2
and save Western Civilization
nice
I think practicing presentations is required until you develop the skill to present well
same way I'm ok with people learning with flash cards or other presentation aids
that's honestly huge, the difference between an engaged class and one where everyone's phoning it in is so apparent
