Every country is different and all, but I think the way the UK and Canada do their elections are normally pretty nice

I looked it up, 40% of Canadian college graduates (4-year degrees) either receive US citizenship (likely by marriage) or are on a work Visa in US/Mexico (tracked together), 1-year after graduating this includes Canadians studying at US colleges and abroad, which accounts for ~10% of Canadian grads this does not exclude Candian 4-year degree recipients who immediately enter post-secondary degree programs

that's in no way saying "40% of young people want to leave" or anything radical like that but it's a trend that to me says "a significant portion of those with the means to leave Canada would rather start their life in America"
