exp works based on an internal level and not your actual level so promoting doesn't seem to cut your exp gains

you can also second seal to push your advanced class back to lvl 1

there really doesn't seem to be any advantage to sticking with a base class beyond lvl 10

second seals r kinda useless unless you're just using the same unit

in this game

by the time you can buy them it's very autistic to work on leveling

you needed to get them like 6 chapters earlier

I havn't played with those much anyway

go for the highest weight that is under your units build

can you realistically speed-stat yourself through the decrease?

yes

for some reason the built in optimizer (which is hit-or-miss) seems to really like taking massive speed debufs

unnecessarily

just give everyone an iron and silver weapon and you are probably fine

javalins and hand axes for range

if you really want to be autistic give them steel too so you can have other options

I think tripple kitting is just stupid ngl

back when durrability was around, sure

if you pay attention to build and reforged weapon upgrades you can do what I did

I plan to have chloe as a wyvern knight with sigurds ring and a reforged +5 silver lance

she has 10 build and the lance is holy engraved so it has 10 weight

this is also why it will take me a year to beat the game

also obviously brave weapons for slow units that have high attack stats

like i said there's zero minmaxing to be had from second sealing in this game

because levels start to get SUPER slow

you can't skill hop like you can in awakening

and build makes it so female units are just always worse

it's a funny stat but

the other issue is

there's little point going too hard on multiple units at the start

because unlike other games, the new receuits you get are almost always like

marginally better

even if you get perfect gains

so if you're minmaxing there's no point going hard on more than like two units

because unlike other games in one or two chapters you get a unit that outclasses them instantly

and more than likely since there's maps with +3 recruits multiple times

you are decentvised from using them

that's a better way to say it

it feels like you're having units just thrown at you all game
