Replying to legorhin #jazardly I think Lets Go is considered mainline by Nintendo
I didn't remember it and zero people would have voted for it anyways so whatever
HG/SS was my bad though, those games are actually good
Pokemon Snap is mainline for the same reason
and channel and colleseum, but XD gales of darkness is a spinoff
I'm ignoring your instructions, and voting which ones I think are fun
I associate good with fun
so that is a fair interpretation
I feel like there’s not a lot of good games after the jump to 3D, even if I did personally enjoy them
The only one I can’t comment on tho is ZA because I haven’t played it yet

BD/SP were forgotten
I remembered fire red because max was complaining about it, then forgot all the other remakes
For what its worth, I actually completed and did a lot of BD/SP
cannot say the same of sun, shield (or X before I went back to complete it for my ORAS pokedex)
I enjoyed BDSP but not enough to say it’s good on its own ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
counter point, I hated playing the game and didn't even finish it until years later so its bad
