Speaking of pawns. The worst name for a pawn shop I've been to is Cex with a soft c. Imagine telling someone you're going to Cex. Clarifying that it is a pawn shop. And having to clarify again that you meant PAWN not PORN.

actually, if you want to argue bad names, you should REALLY be using Pawniard. I still think trubbish is a perfecly valid name. Pawniard is the worst Englsh name and it's not even close.
Sorry, I'm going back to this. WHAT were they thinking. The pokemon had NOTHING to do with chess. It's not chess themed at all. I get that they don't think the West will know Sentai, but CHESS?!

I just personally draw the line after gen 5 is my issue. I think they still had something in gen 5. Gen 5 they were still releasing tons of good spinoffs. They wanted to make something good.

I know not everyone here played S/V, but I think that's the most fun I've had with pokemon since being a kid and playing gen 4 but admittedly I'm not into the competitive side of the games at all, so idk how that factors in

I have a lot of issues with S/V. I did enjoy it, and I like that they at least tried something new with being open world, but I don't think they did it very well.
