Reminds me of people posting umas to r/topcharacterdesigns . "BUT THIS PARTICULAR UMA HAS LIKE, SO MANY REFERENCES TO THE HORSE AND JOCKEY IT IS BASED ON" Yes. And so does every other horse girl in Uma Musume. That's like the bar for them. None of them are peak, and they all look like standard anime girls with horse ears.

actually, if you want to argue bad names, you should REALLY be using Pawniard. I still think trubbish is a perfecly valid name. Pawniard is the worst Englsh name and it's not even close.

I think arguing against specifically trubbish and vannilite is the most unoriginal thing honestly. People can't be bothered to form their own opinions or attack designs/names that ARE bad. They just repeat what other people say constantly.

Speaking of pawns. The worst name for a pawn shop I've been to is Cex with a soft c. Imagine telling someone you're going to Cex. Clarifying that it is a pawn shop. And having to clarify again that you meant PAWN not PORN.

Sorry, I'm going back to this. WHAT were they thinking. The pokemon had NOTHING to do with chess. It's not chess themed at all. I get that they don't think the West will know Sentai, but CHESS?!

I just personally draw the line after gen 5 is my issue. I think they still had something in gen 5. Gen 5 they were still releasing tons of good spinoffs. They wanted to make something good.

I know not everyone here played S/V, but I think that's the most fun I've had with pokemon since being a kid and playing gen 4 but admittedly I'm not into the competitive side of the games at all, so idk how that factors in
