Best I've played is Path of Radiance, but all from Thracia to Radiant Dawn are great imo.
I forget, is it path of radiance or radiant Dawn that’s on the Wii
Cause I never remember which is which
path is gc, dawn is wii
source off the top of my head, but am 60% sure
If the games were not so long, I'd love to go play all of them
still have not gotten around to engage
Maybe this summer after my qualifying exams are done
As far as fire emblem games go, I've played 7, 8, awakening, fates, SoV, 3H, and both warriors games
oh yeah and that
I’ve played the tutorial dungeon and started the shopping mall one right after but never finished it. I did get the switch port and might play that tho
I mean, I was playing the original on Wii U on actual hardware, which used the gamepad a fair bit iirc
Then Jake broke the gamepad
And fwiw I did enjoy what I played of it, which is why I got the switch port
Still Nintendo wanted people to forget the Wii U so they probably asked atlus to do it
Its also great if you think claude is very very cool
Replying to RIBA #dank.meme elitism is cringe modern fe is peak 😏 3H is great if you're a hyper autist who wants to plan out their entire run from the start--because it gives you the capabilities to predict and map out your builds, it also sold pretty well
doing those runs sucks dick though because you have to do the monastery segments again.

Like what you want, but the things I dislike the most in FE games are a lack of game balance and heavily encouraged grinding first, ambush spawns second, and bad story third.

where does engage encourage grinding
I dislike grinding and long chapters in Fire Emblem but I do like using a ton of units. Thracia 776 has the best balance for this imo. There are some archaic chapters in the game, but there are also some of the best ones in the series. There are so many mechanics only present in Thracia that I really like, especially Fatigue and capturing.

I said I haven't played Engage so I wouldn't know...
I am not talking about Engage. Just from the games I've played
Every game except the ones I haven't played, which are the NES games, TMS, and Engage
I'm just saying that these three things are present in some combination in many games that I don't like. Not saying that I dislike all the games. Like Sacred Stones, Awakening, and Echoes have those respawning enemies in the map that you're supposed to use to grind. And you can do unlimited grinding in those games and Birthright.
Awakening also has the dual strike and dual guard that are obscured from the player. Fates does it much better

is there a mainline game TMS or does this mean Tokyo Mirage Sessions?
There are two of them so I didn't want to list both
I have played the other spinoffs in some capacity
It's crazy that SoV is still a 'recent' game
I really disliked FE4 so I hope they make some slight changes to fix it.
