The 3D tism'd me out as a child, always off.

I just remember everyone complaining about headaches after 1-2 hours of play

I was more in Garbages boat on it

There was only like two games that both had it and didn’t look terrible with it to me

And the reason that it caused people headaches is because it effectively was a cross eyed 3d effect

I like how long it took for fan made virtua boy emulation

I liked using 3d sometimes

I remember flicking it on sometimes in OoT but never using it again after

I wonder how many games actually used the gimmick

they should bring back street pass

Street pass was one of my favorite things they did with the 3ds

Same i thought it was super cool and the Save Mii game was pretty cute/fun

link between worlds used the 3d a bit

Apparently Awakening did aswell but I cant remember using it at all

DSi was my favorite, and I liked the material finish of it and was too stubborn to get a 3DS because of it

though I would borrow/steal my siblings 3DS to play some stuff

DSi had really high build quality

There was a good YT video I remember watching, about how the DSi hit at the worst possible time

had it sold better, my hope would have been that the 3DS was more like that

DSi was also my 1st "big" purchase in my life I think, I had to withdraw from my elementary school bank and everything

It released at a good time in my childhood, when my ds lite was fairly disintegrated, and the 3ds launched at way too high of a price.

my little brother had 10+ DSes of various types

I think as a family we had a retarded number of them

because my sister would always get the launch colour, and then get the 'pink' one when it eventually came out, and then one or two skinned ones of each gen

and my brother just seemed to get them as gifts from every relative for w/e reason

I had this one, which I think had a stupid cheap blackfriday deal

I had a GBA and SP as well, when I was super young

they were to entertain me in the hospital

My first handheld was a Pearl Blue Gameboy Advance SP

This isn’t my original box but this was my first handheld

My favorite variant is the poke ball one

The poke-pedometer that came out with HG/SS remakes was apparently one of the most accurate ones you could buy at the time.

I got every ring in the oracle games with only a little code editing to avoid needing to beat both games twice

the RNG based heart pieces are cancer and ages has way too many things locked behind bad minigames

you have to rng roll for exclusive rings behind that dancing minigame

luckily you can save state the dancing

but there's no way to rng manipulate during the game

vinny if you are going to go for all rings you should never use a gasha seed on a soil patch that isn't one of the few 3-5 tier spots

all the 4 and 5 tier random rings can only be gotten through that but all the ones under 4 can be gotten through maple or the chest minigame

chest minigame is great for it with save states or rewind
