It has 1 major one thats easy
once you get goron mask, you can use a bomb to blast yourself over the fence to the ocean by doing the point jump and getting blasted by a bomb at the right time
this skips the ranch
you can do the same trick to ...
yeah
Also you can skip ice arrows on the way to stone tower
semi precise position, you can just hookshot the first tree
you need the horse to get the mask to get there though
So technically you can go get the horse as soon as you have fire arrows, get zora + hookshot ( never entering great bay) then go straight to stone tower
only advantage to this I can think of is great fairy reward for stone tower is good
I did the goron skip to the ocean because I was trying to maximize my first cycle collection and by the time I beat snowhead it was day 3 (way too late to get the horse)
I do not know how to hover
So I stick to simple tricks
Oh thats the other major skip I know
with zora you can get on the wall in the laundry pool
then jump slash into the door loading zone
so you can get keaton mask + letter without doing the rest of the quest
I did that cycle 1 to get the postman hat
I never posted it here, but here is everything I had by the end of first cycle. I missed some easy stuff like blast mask, all night mask, big bomb bag
that is amusing
ist cycle is trash for majoras mask speedruns innit
thats 0th cycle to be clear
when I say 1st I mean after you get ocarina
played
I 100%'d it already
Leg is currently playing it
choppy no
there is a bug with the map screen though
thats the only major bug I found
I think by version 2.0 it will just be the best casual way to play the game
like ship is for OoT
3DS or did you homebrew put it on a DS lmao
3DS was my old answer for best way to casually play OoT
but I really think ship is great
2ship is fairly bare bones compared to ship atm, but it is fully playable
most of the stuff its missing are stuff I want for rando anyways
Oh yeah, I only played 20fps
so I can't comment on higher frame rates
I was playing with 2x resolution and it looked and played good
Boss fights, goron rolling and zora swimming are the main things that got changed in 3D
There are things from MM3D I really like and hope ship adds like the expanded bomber notebook
but overall its a worse game than base MM
the style of the original can't be beat
but I think nearly all of the changes in MM3D are gameplay positives
aside from 1 boss fight being made worse
I liked MM3D, but its been so many years since I played it tbh
even though I say that though
I'd never tell someone, just play MM3D
I'd say to play the original
it's 100% approachable enough
See, with OoT if they had a 3DS I'd say just play OoT3D, I agree though I would never say just play MM3D if they had both options
and the stuff you miss out on, is mostly stuff that you don't need to concern with to love the game
I think almost all of the zelda remakes are just straight upgrades to the original
I played TPHD a bit, though from what I remember there were very few changes aside from the upscaled assets
Thats the only one I've not played
I liked skyward sword HD, WWHD swift sail among other things makes the game so much better
