probably accurate. As far as how I know how Nintendo works, a lot of their games come from scraped ideas from older games that they either did not have enough time to do, or they physically could not get it to work with the hardware at the time

i think the putting shit together and building part came up in developement and it "could" of been a feature for botw, but they decided to streamline the game and probably realized it could be its own seperate game

yeah you can solve a lot of puzzles by lifting a block up and away from you
