Did Pokemon hire fanfic writers for these stories of typhlosion and slakoths and octilary?
Wow that’s nuts, why are they making the Pokémon sexual now, before I thought it was just jokes but now they seem to be serious about it.

It's literally just Greek myth for the Pokémon lore team, I think its cool and makes sense as an internal dev doc.
But if it is just this myth why are they replacing human characters with Pokémon insinuating sexual relations between Pokémon/humans. They could have just simply altered the story to be family friendly. It does not make sense to me why they need to have internal development stories like this to make a “family friendly” game.

They are attempting to create an ancient world based on an older region in Japan. I'm sure they just do a lot of this for world/setting building.

Didn’t the movies establish that Pokémon came from a meteor that hit the earth while humanity was around?
