Wow that’s nuts, why are they making the Pokémon sexual now, before I thought it was just jokes but now they seem to be serious about it.
It's literally just Greek myth for the Pokémon lore team, I think its cool and makes sense as an internal dev doc.

Companies like Blizzard welcome it for their dying games, but im sure this is quite serious for Pokémon's suits who like to keep things family friendly at all cost

But if it is just this myth why are they replacing human characters with Pokémon insinuating sexual relations between Pokémon/humans. They could have just simply altered the story to be family friendly. It does not make sense to me why they need to have internal development stories like this to make a “family friendly” game.

They are attempting to create an ancient world based on an older region in Japan. I'm sure they just do a lot of this for world/setting building.

I think a lot of game development is doing a ton of research to make story/concepts that ultimately are never to be or meant to be seen by anyone.
