Imagine how optimial reading a LN is on a TV that's like 100 words per line

The former works well on a phone. Can read it with no problem - permitting you can read kanji. The latter, not so much without zooming in.

I agree with Pika on this one. Even if you make the text big enough that you don't have to hold the phone 3mm from your face to read, it's a pain in the ass reading a book page on a phone.

You swipe once to turn the page, yes, but you have to drag the page around to move through the text if you make it bigger than ant-sized.
