I never thought of this before, but the One Ring was forged to fit men, not Hobbits, right? In that case, does it resize itself for whomever is possessing it? Because Bilbo and Frodo actually wear the ring, but the Rings of Power were forged by elves for Sauron - three for elves, seven for dwarves, nine for men - and the One Ring was forged by Sauron himself, who was a Maia, roughly the same size of a man. How does the ring fit Hobbits then?

doesn't it already change size to slip off people's fingers?
I don't remember that, but it's been a long time since I've watched the film, and I haven't read Lord of the Rings because it's so fucking long-winded to even get into the beginning.

old people really love reminding people that they feel old and dated whenever they get a chance to
I didn't say I feel old and dated, I said I'm dating myself by posting that, because nine times out of ten, if I posted something from 1993, someone else would feel the need to be like "lulz boomer"

I'm sometimes as bitter as someone that's ancient and decrepit, but that's more so when shit happens like Wizards of the Coast making Tieflings a core race, removing alignments from MONSTERS in the MOSNTER Manual, suggesting that half-orcs should be common and not almost exclusively rape babies, etc.

But I don't act ancient or decrepit regularly, just out of touch, but I've been out of touch with people of all age groups since I was like five years old so that's nothing new.

Sauron was significantly bigger than a man, at the very beginning of the book Isildur describes the one ring shrinking down to fit his hand. You can even see this happen in the movie.

imagine thinking a mask obstructs your ability to breathe in any meaningful way
You are legitimately retarded if you think that
