I don't know how I feel about Thanksgiving Mac & Cheese
it's one of those side dishes that everyone likes
but its a waste because it doesn't go with anything else
it's also *that* dish, that you always bring if you're going to a friends house for dinner
Do you like Thanksgiving sides Gent?
I'm guessing Green bean casserole maybe, that's the least starch-y side dish
no milk, they use corn broth
its mostly just a style of corn
kind of like a less-soupy corn chowder
actually, Fire
I'm retarded
I was thinking cream didn't count as milk
lmao
it still is mostly corn broth
but there's definately thick cream and fat added
normally for thanksgiving, you make it into a casserole
which will kind of be like warm, goopy cornbread
almost always the former
White American is "fancier" than cheddar
but it's never has a carbonara consitancy
though a couple years ago, I saw something for the first time with Mac & Cheese
some retard substituted the ritz crackers on top, for cheese-its
any family that does this should be shot
my dad make the shittiest mac and cheese on the planet
because he can't make a cheese roux for some reason
and always boils the milk
ends up "creamy" which is the nice way of saying it's cheese soup with pasts floating in it
what's your weird dutch home-cooked meal
