I assume it's government subsidized
since I can't imagine most service industries would be able to pay that
there is some fuckery due to conversion rates and whatnot

no, I mean if it's a realized tax of 40%, or if its assessed some other way
if they lose 50% of their salary to taxes, getting paid $25 is less crazy
it does not exceed 40% apparently it varies wildly by region

40 hours is arbitrary, I don't think it's a worthless number
but it's never tied into productivity, andd only matters for administrative and tax purposes
So, my company sent everyone home for Corona, and we all did basically nothing for 6 months
productivity fell from 100% to 90%
and management is kind of astounded
this is when we find out spooky works a meme job
it's suprisingly not me, I manage the people working meme jobs
they are 90% of the time a front for the mob

it just turns out, that even without 6 months of work, things kind of keep coasting
like a runaway freight train
