phijkchu is split along the "I do not trust myself, so my clone will murder me so i will murder him first" and "I know myself, I would not attempt to kill/replace myself so a clone is a non issue, I will not try to murder him" lines

i do not trust myself, so definitely would not trust my clone. me likely accepting the clone the clone adds to my distrust of myself. the clone may kill me, oh well
If my clone kills me, it probably had a good reason to do it and I'm ok with it
I mean, idk if the exact reason even really matters, my clone is alive in the end so it's a win for me either way
me and my clone would defacto consider eachother to be different people

I voted for twice as efficient, but the real answer is we would both individually be just as efficient
Me playing a video game or watching an anime or doing math would not be satisfying for the clone, who would also want to do those things
My clone would not do that
even if he awknowledged he is a clone, that is an irrelevant factor. He would view himself as a real person, entirely distinct from me
why would he throw away his life
Yeah if we are talking shared conciousness or at least updatable shared conciousness
then I think you can actually work more than 2x as efficient

Yeah I thought about that but like it's probably fine. We would just invent a way to quickly exchange memories first
