The weirdest part of having the betterdiscord plugin that allows me to see edited/deleted message is the fact that there's one guy in another server who just constantly edits his messages so every time I open up the channel, there's just a wall of text.

each edit is like 30 seconds apart

He edited it so many times and still has "a good friend of mines" smh my head

I actually just turned off the thing that shows edited messages in chat because of this one guy, so I no longer see them

I wish the Discord text editor was faster with live-updating, there's a multi-second delay before it loads the spellcheck, which means often I will send before it shows me whatever horrible misspelling I made

but if I load the msg editor, it's instant

Yeah I see a lot of people edit messages with minor grammatical or spelling errors, but I don't think I've ever seen more than one edit, or at least not commonly, at least compared to this guy who does this with every message.

i try to type too fast and then don't double check so i end up making spelling mistakes a lot

The spell checker is weird yeah. It's delayed a bit. And when you type again, all red squiggles disappear until you wait.

these unified chips designed for machine learning tasks are GPUs not TPUs?

I'm not familiar with those specifics either, since I've only trained on GPUs and I didn't have enough data (5 TB of acoustic data) to even bother using inference on GPUs

I believe they are a spectrum between TPU processors and GPU processors to let people choose between DSP and AI

I'm not trying to shit on the little AiO AI boxes either, I think they're cool I'd just rather have 2-3 good GPUs in a compute box I can use over the network

similar issue I have with AI laptops, you're better served having "close enough" local AI than specifically on-device AI
