Also, if for whatever reason anyone here wants to use/try Matrix: 1) I have setup a matrix node at mx.phijkchu.com (If you click this link you can fuck around with the 10+ different clients) 2) When you decide all those clients are sorta mid, you can use https://cinny.phijkchu.com, which is a lightly modified Cinny client 3) Click this link to get started and join the Phijkchu server https://mx.phijkchu.com/#/#Phijkchu:mx.phijkchu.com (edited)

why have the modified cinny client? whats different from tbe regular one?

Other than the encrpytion, Spooky's official phijkchu matrix is setup, and free to use (as a backup, I guess you can use it as an exclusive chat if you so wish)

The Matrix server has been rebuilt, check out: https://mx.phijkchu.com/#/#Phijkchu:mx.phijkchu.com I did a one-time reset of everything, so if you registered on the Cinny instance, you will have to make new accounts (sorry) If you used an existing Matrix, Element.io, or FluffyChat account, you can just leave the old server and add: #Phijkchu:mx.phijkchu.com I migrated the whole server to a new backend that is a lot faster and supports the perm stuff I wanted to do, but trying to surgically copy user data and passwords/keys over wasn't going to work without breaking everything. Also setup E2E Encryption in a way that's not incredibly annoying and doesn't break message history
